Hotel Puerta de las Granadas is a small charming hotel with only sixteen rooms in a catalogued building from the XIX Century, totally rehabilitated in April of 2004. It is situated in Cuesta de Gomerez, next to the Puerta de las Granadas, which gives it name to the hotel, and the door to the Alhambra Palace´s monument. Keeping the architectural values of its past, the hotel has been given a modern and functional nature according to the present times. The hotel allows the visitor to live with the maximum comfort, move around just walking to the most emblematic monuments, and the trendiest and most traditional places of the city.

The rooms of the hotel are arranged as follows: two special rooms are located in the penthouse. Both are equipped with twin beds and dormered ceilings and have a superb view over the city. The room named Cathedral Viewpoint, which has five windows, has beautiful sights over the Albaycín neighbourhood, the cathedral and the "Carmen de Mauror". The one called Alhambra Viewpoint has likewise superb sights over the Cathedral, the Albaycín area and the Alhambra´s "Torre de la Vela". From all the rooms facing Cuesta Gomérez, the "Torres Bermejas of the Alhambra" (Alhambra Red Towers) are easily seen. One of the rooms on the second floor has a balcony, covered with glazed wooden structure. On the third floor, the rooms face the "Alhambra´s Torre de la Vela." All the rooms are double, having twin beds, except three in the "Carmen del Mauror" part which are double bedded.
