Hotel Cortijo La Reina forms a part of a 150,000 m² estate in the Montes de Malaga Natural Park which is just 30 minutes drive from Malaga airport. The estate has a number of trekking paths which wind among the splendid greenery consisting of olive trees, pines, almond trees, and oak as well as numerous fruit trees bearing kiwis, grapefruit, avocados and others. Bird species include woodpecker, goldfinch, eagles and seagulls. Near to the hotel are the typical towns of Colmenar, Archidona and Casabermeja.
